Ratings from the
Editor,
It's been a while, but I have reacquainted myself
with J.P.'s Restaurant and Deli in Essex Jct.,
Vermont that was est. in 1999. They must know when they have a good thing
because the food is true Vermont and you get plenty of it. The taste of
the food can't be explained, it must be tried. The service is very
friendly, the best I've seen and the place is roomy. If you live in
Vermont or find yourself vacationing here, it's worth trying J. P. Restaurant. Send me an email and let me know
what you think. My rating for this Restaurant is
850 (Excellent).

I've eaten out at a lot of restaurants.
One of my favorite restaurants is Ponderosa. They are all over, I've been in
several from Vermont to Florida. The selection of food, the
quality and the price, is hard to beat. The one my family and
I enjoy the most is the one in Williston, VT, they have something that the other
ones don't. They have a general manager named Robert Cassell
Jr. This manager takes the extra steps to make sure his customers are
happy, he comes out and walks the floor meeting and greeting his customers,
always with a smile on his face. His help is courteous, helpful and
loyal. Most of his employees have been there as long as I have been going
there. It's Nice to go to a restaurant and have the staff go well
above their duties. I rate Ponderosa Restaurant
in Williston, VT a 850.

Dear
Watchdog,
How many Ice Cubes do you believe a high power professional
refrigerator would make in an hour? I own a Frigidair
Gallery Professional Series Refrigerator that I bought from Sears in
South Burlington, VT. When we bought this Refrigerator, it only made 9 ice cubes
every 3 hours. So I called Sears up to check it out because I didn't believe
that was right. They checked it out and said that's how it works. Who can
believe that. Only 9 ice cubes every 3 hours. So now I freeze water in plastic
cups to use along with my 9 ice cubes I get every 3 hours. So I would have to
give this product a 349, (very
poor).

Dear Watchdog,
I would like to give thanks
to Costco and Sam's Club for their good work
and policy of backing everything they sell. When I buy something from
them, I know that for any reason, If I'm not satisfy they will take the item
back and give me a full refund. I give them a rating of 850.

Dear
Watchdog,
I bought energy saving lightbulbs from Costco that do not last any more
then a year. I returned them to Costco and they gave me my money back with no
hassle. I give the lightbulbs a rating of 619,
and Costco I give a rating of
750.
Still Searching for better bulbs in Williston, VT
Dear
Watchdog,
I can
remember when Al's French fries was in Essex Jct.,
VT, they were doing so much business that they moved to South Burlington and
became one of the top fast food restaurants in the area. My family loves
the way they make their fries. The only other place we found were they
were that good was the bus at Battery Park.
Then they go and change something like the oil they cook the fries in, the whole
taste of the fries changed. They act like they are doing something for us (low fat, better for us) but
why does the taste have to suffer?
I give
Al's French fries and the Bus at
Battery Park a 690(Good).
Love my fries in Colchester,
